How do I view 4K (60p or 120p) and HDR content from a HDMI device connected to an Android TV or Google TV?

    4K (60p or 120p) content

    Follow these instructions to view 4K picture with Enhanced format (18Gbps):

    • Use a Premium High-Speed HDMI® cable which supports 18Gbps.
    • Connect the HDMI cable to the 4K compatible HDMI port on the TV.

      Note: Information on the 4K compatible HDMI ports of your Android TV™ device is available.

    • Set HDMI signal format to Enhanced format.
      1. On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
      2. Select Settings or the Gear icon icon.
      3. Select External inputs in the TV category.
      4. Select HDMI signal format and set to Enhanced format.

    High Dynamic Range (HDR)

    • Use a Premium High-Speed HDMI cable which supports 18Gbps.
    • Connect the HDMI cable to the HDR-compatible HDMI port on the TV.

      Note: Information about the HDR-compatible HDMI ports on your Android TV is available.

    • Set HDMI signal format to Enhanced format.
      1. On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
      2. Select Settings or the Gear icon icon.
      3. Select External inputs in the TV category.
      4. Select HDMI signal format and set to Enhanced format.
