Can't Pair My Smartphone or Tablet to My Headphones Using NFC

Check the following if you have problems pairing your smartphone or tablet with your Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones:

  1. Remove the headphones from the charging case.
    • The headphones automatically turn off when they are placed in the charging case. To pair the headphones to a mobile device using NFC™, the headphones need to be removed from the charging case and powered on.
    • If the headphones are turned off, press the left and right buttons at the bottom for two seconds until the blue indicating lamps flash.
  2. The NFC function of the mobile device should be set to On and the screen should be unlocked.
  3. Hold the NFC logo of the mobile device near the NFC logo of the charging case until the mobile device vibrates or plays a short sound.
    • WF-1000X NFC logo is located on the bottom of the charging case.

  4. If the mobile device is in a protective case and you can't pair the devices, remove the case.
  5. NFC sensitivity may vary. If you can't pair the headphones using NFC, you can connect to the Bluetooth® signal of the headphones directly.
