Clear Data and Clear Cache on an Android TV
If the apps on your Android TV™ device don't work properly, you may clear cache and clear data to try to resolve the issue.
Clear Cache
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Under TV category, select Apps.
- Under System apps, select your preferred app.
- Select Clear cache.
- Select OK.
If the issue still occurs, clear data on your TV.
Clear Data
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Under TV category, select Apps.
- Under System apps, select your preferred app.
- Select Clear data.
- Select OK.
- If your TV displays another option, select CLEAR ALL DATA, and then select OK.
