Set up Amazon Alexa for wireless headphones

Before you start

Set up the Amazon Alexa app

Follow these steps to add your headphones to the Amazon Alexa app:

  1. Turn on your headphones and pair them to your mobile device using Bluetooth® function.
  2. On your smartphone, open the Amazon Alexa app.
  3. Open the menu on the upper left, and then tap Add Device.

  4. On the What type of device are you setting up? screen, select Headphones.
  5. On the Select your device screen, select the model number of your headphones.

    • On an iOS mobile device, the headphone model name starts with LE_.
    • Unpaired headphones won't show up in the AVAILABLE DEVICES list.
  6. Tap CONTINUE.
  7. At the Bluetooth Pairing Request notification, tap Pair.
  8. On the This will override the current voice assistant screen, select CONTINUE.
  9. On the Setup Complete screen, tap DONE.

How to use Amazon Alexa with your headphones

  1. Turn on your headphones and pair them to your mobile device using Bluetooth.
  2. Start the Amazon Alexa app.
  3. Start the Headphones Connect App.
  4. Under Change function of [NC/AMBIENT] button, select Amazon Alexa.

  5. Briefly press the NC/AMBIENT button on your headphones and then speak your voice command.

    • If you want to cancel the Alexa voice input, press the NC/AMBIENT button again.
    • If you don't talk after a while, Alexa voice input is automatically canceled.
