How to use Caption on your TV

The Caption function displays audio information such as spoken dialogue and sound effects as text on the screen. This feature can help users who are hearing impaired to access and enjoy content.
Caption availability varies by TV channel, app, and content.

How to turn on Captions

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Press the Dashboard () button.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Captions.
5. Select Display.
6. Select ON.

Advanced Settings

Change the caption language

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Press the Dashboard () button.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Captions.
5. Select Language.
6. Select the desired language.

Change the caption text size

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Press the Dashboard () button.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Captions.
5. Select Text size.
6. Select the desired text size.

Change the caption text color

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Press the Dashboard () button.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Captions.
5. Select one of the following options: White on black / Black on white / Yellow on black / Yellow on blue / Custom.

Customize Caption display

You can customize how Caption is displayed on the screen, such as font, color, and size.

1. While watching TV, press the HOME button on the remote control.
2. Press the Dashboard () button.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Captions.
5. Select Custom.
6. Customize the Caption display settings as desired.
