How To's
Your HDMI™-equipped VAIO® computer system can double as a multimedia playback device in your living room. Play picture slideshows or videos, listen to music, or enjoy DVD-Video and Blu-ray Disc™ (if so equipped) movies directly on your high definition television set.
Note: The following Windows® desktop resolution settings can be used for the these display types:
| HD Display Type | Desktop Screen Resolution |
|---|---|
| 1080p / 1080i | 1920 x 1080 |
| 1768 x 992 (for HDTV sets that do not have 1:1 pixel mapping) |
|
| 720p | 1280 x 720 |
| 1176 x 664 (for HDTV sets that do not have 1:1 pixel mapping) |
Now your HDTV set will be used as the single display for your VAIO® computer system.
