The RTK positioning accuracy is low when using the base station
Follow the messages displayed on the Airpeak Flight app and check the settings and connection accordingly:
- If the position is set manually, use another method to make sure that the position coordinate values are correct. If they are significantly different, the position accuracy cannot be fixed.
- If the position is set automatically:
- Make sure the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) reception status of the base station antenna is good. Poor reception status can cause this issue.
- The target accuracy should be set with a reasonable value. Ease the target accuracy.
- Make sure that the previously set value is accepted by tapping Apply while the value is displayed on the Airpeak Flight app.
- If the base station is moved or if the cable between the base station antenna and the remote controller is disconnected, reconnect the cable and then make sure that the base station position is reset.
- Make sure that the cables between the interface unit and the antenna unit for the aircraft are properly connected.
- Make sure that the cables between the base station antenna and the remote controller are properly connected.
