The volume control buttons on the touch sensor bar do not work.

The plus (+) and minus (-) volume control buttons on the touch sensor bar above the keyboard may not work properly if the touchpad driver is not installed properly. The other buttons on the touch sensor bar, such as the Play, Forward, or Rewind buttons, may still work properly.
To resolve the issue, download and install the original Synaptics® Touchpad Driver (or an updated version of that driver, if available). Downloads are posted on your model support page.
