The camera may become unresponsive or fail to turn on after the firmware is updated. This may be due to a low battery or an incomplete firmware installation. Follow these steps to address the issue:
- Make sure the battery is fully charged. If you have the optional AC power adapter, connect it to the camera and a working electrical outlet.
Note: Batteries discharge faster when used in cold weather conditions.
- Check if the USB cable is working properly.
- If the camera won't turn on after the manual reset, run the firmware again.
- If necessary, use a different computer.
If the issue still occurs, repair may be required.
