The TV Speakers Produce Humming, Buzzing, or Static Noise
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Make sure that any audio or coaxial cables used are securely connected to the TV.
- Remove any electronic devices that may cause interference from the TV.
- Determine if the issue is with the broadcast or source device.
- If using an antenna or direct cable from the wall (without a box)
- Try to view from another channel or signal source such as cable box, DVD, Blu-ray Disc™ player, or game system.
- If using a cable box, DVR, or satellite receiver
- Try a different channel, lower the volume on the box, or try a different source device such as DVD, Blu-ray Disc player, or game system.
- If using an antenna or direct cable from the wall (without a box)
- Select your TV type to perform a power reset.
If the issue still occurs, repair may be required.
