No sound comes through the speaker.

Follow this procedure to troubleshoot no sound coming through the speaker.

  1. Ensure fresh batteries are installed.
  2. Ensure the volume is turned up.
  3. Ensure an ear receiver or headphones are not connected to the unit.

NOTE: If the unit plays sound through an ear receiver or headphones and not from the built-in speaker, service may be required.
