To avoid getting the error message when doing a software update, make sure that the update folder is labeled as UPDATE (in all caps) and that all the files listed below are included inside it.
- MSBXX-FW.BIN
- MSBXX-FW.ID
- MSBXX-FW_MB.BIN
- MSBXX-FW_MB.ID
After confirming that all the files are included in the UPDATE folder, you can then download and transfer the files to your USB storage device.
