The POWER indicator is flashing red.

If the POWER indicator is blinking red, the portable speaker is in the protect mode. This may happen if you connect a device that is not compatible with the speaker or due to overheating. To resolve this, follow the steps below.

  • SRS-X9
    1. Disconnect the power cord for two minutes.
    2. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the unit.
  • SRS-X7, SRS-X77, SRS-HG1
    1. Push the RESET button on the rear or bottom of the speaker with a pointed object, such as a pin.
    2. Disconnect the power cord for two minutes.
    3. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the unit.

If you have followed the steps provided and the power indicator is still blinking red, repair may be required.
