The time on my TV does not update even though automatic date & time is enabled

    Your TV must be connected to the internet and set to the correct time zone to automatically update the date and time. Make sure your time zone is set correctly and if you don't have an internet connection, manually set the date and time on your TV.

    Time zone setting

    If the time is not displayed correctly, there is a possibility that the time zone setting is not correct. Follow these steps to check the setting:

    1. Open the Settings screen. How to access Settings
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select SystemDate & timeSet time zone.
      • Select Device PreferencesDate & timeSet time zone.
      • Select Device PreferencesDate & timeTimeSet time zone.
      • Select Date & timeSet time zone.
      • Select Date & timeTimeAutomatic time zoneOff, then select Set time zone.
    3. Select your time zone location.

    Note: If you use a special network environment such as a VPN (Virtual Private Network), the time on the TV may differ from the time where the TV is located.

    Manually set the date and time

    To manually set the date and time, you'll need to first turn off the automatic date and time setting and then set your date and time.

    2. The next steps depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select SystemDate & timeAutomatic date & timeOff.
      • Select Device PreferencesDate & timeAutomatic date & timeOff.
      • Select Date & timeAutomatic date & timeOff
    3. Go to your date and time settings and select Set date or Date to change the date, and Set time or Time to change the time.
