  • ANIMAX: ANIMAX Japan is SPE's first network branded and dedicated to popular Japanese animation, launched in July 1998. ANIMAX Asia is broadcast region-wide from Singapore via five dedicated, highly customized services for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Philippines, launched in January 2004. ANIMAX India launched in 2004. ANIMAX Latin America is broadcast in Spanish and Brazilian Portugese throughout Latin America, launched in July 2005. ANIMAX Korea airs local Korean animation programming as well as Japanese anime, launched in April 2006. ANIMAX Central Europe is broadcast in Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, launched in June 2007. ANIMAX Germany launched in June 2007 and ANIMAX Africa launched in November 2007.
