My Walkman player won't turn on

    Connect your Walkman® player to a computer or AC adapter and charge it for about ten minutes.

    Walkman light indicator

    • The charge lamp lights up in red as soon as you connect the player to a computer or AC adapter.
    • The player's screen may not turn on if the battery level is insufficient.
    • The player will turn on and enter standby mode after approximately ten minutes.

    Note: If the issue persists or if the walkman still won't turn on even after 20 minutes of being connected to a power source, with the charge indicator lit red, press and hold the power button for eight seconds to restart the player.
