Sony has obtained third-party assurance for environmental data since fiscal year 2001 to ensure the credibility of data reported and facilitate the ongoing improvement of its environmental management. Fiscal year 2025 data assurance was handled by PricewaterhouseCoopers Sustainability LLC, with related procedures including on-site inspection of manufacturing sites. Environmental data has been verified by a third party in accordance with ISAE3000 and ISAE3410.
