BRAVIA A1 Series
OLED 4K Television (2017)
The BRAVIA A1 series of OLED 4K television seeks to deliver the ultimate viewing experience. Drawing on the characteristics of OLED display, it employs sound technology that generates sound through vibrations in the display itself. This resulted in a highly immersive viewing experience that incorporates sound into the screen, while also achieving a minimalist design based on a One Slate concept that aims to eliminate all extraneous elements like speakers and stands. We put the substrate and terminals inside the rear support slate to make the display as slim as possible for a sleek silhouette. The cable management structure was also thoroughly considered so that the TV blends in with its surroundings. What we aimed to do was to shape the TV into a work of art capable of transforming living spaces—a product that embodies visual appeal and also lets the viewer experience something.
