Designed lenses for a wide range of projectors, from ultra-short-throw to super-telephoto lenses, contributing to the commercialization of 30 models. Also developed new optical design methodologies for catadioptric optical systems, including ultra-short-throw projection for spherical screens and freeform prism systems for headset applications.
Promoted cross-organizational collaboration on optics and photonics technologies across the Sony Group as the domain leader of the Optics Strategy Committee. Explored the mathematical mechanisms of cognitive function.
