Developed a speech recognition algorithm for car navigation and the entertainment robot AIBO/QRIO. Drove research and development of robot intelligence models at Sony Intelligence Dynamics Laboratory. Led the development of speech and language AI technologies for multimodal interaction, voice UI, voice agents, and entertainment content creation.
Currently drive activities investigating advanced AI technologies such as generative AI and embodied AI, formulating AI technology strategies for business growth, and supporting AI ethics assessment activities.
