The Sony Group extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected by the flash floods and mudslides that occurred in Nepal and China on August 26, 2026.
Sony Group Corporation and Sony Group companies in China will donate approximately 28 million yen in total to support relief efforts for communities and individuals affected by the disaster.
This donation consists of RMB 1 million (approximately 23 million yen) contributed by Sony Group companies in China and USD 30,000 (approximately 5 million yen) from the "Emergency Disaster and Recovery Fund for Children,"*1 jointly operated by Sony Group Corporation and Save the Children Japan.
The Sony Group sends its sincerest condolences to all those affected and wishes for a full and swift recovery for the region.
