Minority was one of the issues often mentioned in the 10 years of the EYE SEE Project. All over the world, there are many indigenous communities.
Even in countries with high economic growth, indigenous communities with their own culture and traditions are facing all kinds of problems. In particular, the social, cultural, and economic isolation of indigenous peoples is a major issue. This leads to poverty, high unemployment rate, and inadequacy of access to public services. The children's photos remind us of the importance of traditional culture and sense of values of indigenous peoples, and allow them to realize their own sense of identity.
