Sony Group Sponsors and Exhibits Booth at Tokyo Pride 2025
Sony Group Corporation will once again sponsor and exhibit at Tokyo Pride 2025*1, to be held on Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th. This will be our ninth year sponsoring the event, and employees will also be volunteering to join in the parade.
The Sony Group booth has set up a Digital Photo Studio where visitors can take photos with rainbow colored filters, reflecting each individual's unique colors. The photo data will be provided in a digital frame page featuring the Pride logo.
Additionally, we will be showcasing the entertainment robot "aibo"*2 and distributing limited-edition novelties for Tokyo Pride 2025, so please be sure to visit the Sony booth.

Major LGBTQ+-related Initiatives at Sony Japan
Sony Group regards "Diversity" as one of its Values, respecting gender identity and sexual orientation as part of that diversity. We are promoting a workplace where everyone, including LGBTQ+ employees, can work in an environment where they can be themselves and feel safe, in each of the countries/regions where we operate.
Within Japan, we are carrying out the following initiatives:
- Extending employee benefits to those with same-sex partners
- Providing reasonable accommodations for transgender employees
- Awareness/education initiatives through employee training
- Running the Ally Network
- Societal outreach
Our internal and external activities have been recognized, and nineteen Sony group companies have received Gold certification in the "PRIDE Index 2024" by the Japanese general incorporated association work with Pride.
We look forward to seeing you at the Sony Group booth.
