Sony's advanced sensing and ultra-low power edge AI technology, ultra-wide communication network technology utilizing low-Earth orbit satellites, and predictive analysis technology using AI will be used to watch the Earth. We encourage people to take actions that lead to sustainability by identifying the signs of unusual events and letting people know about them. Ultra-compact high-peak-pulse laser technology, edge AI technology and satellite ELTRES technology are exhibited as technologies to be utilized in the platform.

<Main features>
- Advanced sensing and ultra-low power edge AI technology captures invisible information and signs of anomalies anywhere on Earth.
- Ultra-wide area sensing network technology utilizing LEO satellites will enable information to be collected from all over the globe.
- Predictive analysis technology is used to capture signs of anomaly events and communicate them to people to encourage behavior change. It also helps reduce damage and improve productivity.
- Originally developed ultra-compact high-peak-pulse laser makes it possible to detect invisible aerosol particles, leading to atmospheric monitoring such as air pollution and disastrous fire.
- By recognizing complex events with edge AI and converting them into semantic information, it can be compressed into the amount of information that can be transmitted over ultra-wide sensing networks.

<Future direction>
We will promote the development of a system that can capture data from sensors on a global scale, even in environments where there is no communication infrastructure, such as at sea or in mountains. Along with new sensing technologies, such as soil moisture sensors and atmospheric sensors, we will also promote the verification of communication technologies using satellites. With the aim of solving social issues such as food shortages caused by climate change and realizing a system for detecting signs of natural disasters such as tsunamis, floods, and wildfires, we will accelerate fieldwork for social implementation of the technology by deepening cooperation with domestic and overseas companies and research institutions.
