Sony - FUTURE PROOF : Impactful Storytelling with New Technology
Dramatic orchestral music plays as a lighter lands in a puddle of liquid and shattered glass on a hardwood floor. The liquid ignites immediately with a whooshing sound. The music changes to brighter music as a voice begins to speak.

On a film set, crew members huddle around a VENICE 2 camera as they film a scene where two Japanese actors in suits and hats grin down at the fire started by the lighter. Smoke billows behind them as they strut away. On a virtual production stage, the Sony Crystal LED B-series wall behind them transforms from a window to a broad grey screen that reads “BASE.” A man in a grey jacket speaks against a dark background, and a soft grey arch to his right contains white text:

On a sunny mountain road, a silver Aston Martin convertible zooms along a white fence while crew members film— then, the finished scene from the film plays as the car races past. A crew films and listens through headphones in a round driveway in front of a tall house, behind a rose garden with a statue in the center of the driveway. Matt Litwiller speaks to the cameraman carrying the VENICE 2 camera:

In a scene in front of the house, a female actor in a black dress with a vintage hairstyle and red lipstick speaks to a male actor in a grey suit. A man in a striped sweater speaks against a dark background, and a soft grey arch reads:

A camera crew makes adjustments near the actor in the black dress, now they’re indoors beside a vintage dresser. Back in the room with the Sony Crystal LED B-series wall, crew members approach the wall, which is displaying the same room we saw the female actor in. Then the two actors in hats talk and grin, and stride toward the camera. Subtitles appear in yellow at the bottom of the screen as a crew member gives direction.
