The purpose of this Social Media Terms of Use ("Terms") is to establish terms and conditions for the use (including but not limited to viewing and posting of information) of the official social media pages ("Official Media Social Pages") which Sony Group Corporation ("Sony") maintains and related service.

You must read and agree to the Terms, in addition to terms and conditions established by individual social media platforms, before viewing and posting on the Official Social Media Pages or using other services provided by Sony.

Basic Policy

Sony operates the Official Social Media Pages which introduce and disseminate various information about Sony and Sony's subsidiaries and affiliates ("Sony Group Companies") such as products, service information, event information and corporate information of Sony and Sony Group Companies in order to make Sony and Sony Group Companies more familiar to its customers and social media users.

About the Information and Intellectual Property on the Official Social Media Pages

1. The information that Sony provides on the Official Social Media Pages does not necessarily represent its official announcements or views. As for Sony's official announcements, please check Sony website and press releases.
2. The copyright, all other intellectual property rights and other rights to the information posted on the Official Social Media Pages are protected by the Copyright Act of applicable jurisdictions, related treaties and other applicable laws and/or regulations. You must not use (including reproduce, modify, upload, post, transmit, distribute, license, sale, publish, etc.) of any information on the Official Social Media Pages without written permission of the rights holders in ways that exceed the scope allowable under the law, such as for example reproduction for personal use as permitted under the Copyright Act.
3. "Sony", "SONY" logo and any other product names, service names and logos of Sony products are registered trademarks or trademarks of Sony or Sony Group Companies. Other product names, service names, company names or logos are trademarks, registered trademarks or trade names of their respective owners and/or licensors.
4. You reserve the copyright and other rights to the content posted by you on the Official Social Media Pages, provided, however that upon posting, you must agree to grant Sony and Sony Group Companies the use of the content for free and non-exclusive worldwide (including processing, excerpts, reproduction, making public, and translation) and not to exercise any intellectual property rights, such as copyrights and moral rights of authors to Sony and Sony Group Companies.

About Posting

1. Sony and Sony Group Companies has no obligation to post or store contents posted by users on the Official Social Media Pages. In addition, Sony and Sony Group Companies may, at its discretion, delete, edit, or take other measures without notifying the concerned user.
2. Sony and Sony Group Companies provide no guarantee that any of Sony and Sony Group Companies will respond, comment, or react to your posts or inquiries through the Official Social Media Pages.

Prohibitions

1. Acts and postings specified in the following items are prohibited when you view, post, or otherwise use the Official Social Media Pages.
   • (1) Acts or postings for the purpose of political or religious activities, such as inducing support for individuals and specific organizations (religious organizations, political organizations, political parties, and other organizations) and soliciting participation.
   • (2) Acts or postings that incite or agitate other users to get involved, such as online flaming, demonstrations, and boycott movements.
   • (3) Acts or postings that imply disturbing behaviors such as threat to commit suicide or detonate a bomb, regardless of whether such implications are concrete or not.
   • (4) Postings of information that contains falsehoods or factual errors and acts or postings of mere rumors or that spread unfounded rumors.
   • (5) Acts or postings that are conducted by users with impersonating a third party.
   • (6) Acts or postings that disclose personal information (name, e-mail address, address, telephone number, etc.) or information that can identify an individual without the consent of the individual.
   • (7) Criminal acts or acts or postings that violate laws and regulations, and acts or postings likely to be such criminal acts or violation of laws.
   • (8) Acts or postings for commercial purposes (including advertising, promotion, solicitation, and links to other websites).
   • (9) Postings that contain obscene words or images, and acts or postings using the Official Social Media Pages for the purpose of dating.
   • (10) Acts or postings that defame Sony, Sony Group Companies or third parties, and that damage their reputation or credibility, or acts or postings likely to be such acts.
   • (11) Acts or postings that infringe the intellectual property rights, property rights, trade secrets, privacy, or other rights and interests of Sony, Sony Group Companies, or any third parties, or acts or postings likely to be such acts.
   • (12) Acts or postings that destroy or encumber systems of Sony, Sony Group Companies, or social media platform or their functions (including acts that distribute harmful programs such as computer viruses).
   • (13) Acts of uploading or posting obvious mischief or meaningless material(including blank posting, enumeration of meaningless characters, and continuous posting of actually same contents) or postings of them.
   • (14) Acts or postings of political and religious controversies or that provoke or incite them.
   • (15) Acts or postings that are, or likely to be, contrary to public order and morals.
   • (16) Other acts or postings that Sony deems inappropriate in accordance with the above items.
2. If it is found that your acts or postings violate the prohibitions listed above, Sony may block your account, delete or hide your comments.
3. If it is found that your acts or postings are malicious or likely to violate or conflict the terms and conditions of the social media platform or applicable laws, Sony may report them to providers of the social media platforms and public agencies.

Disclaimer

1. Sony and Sony Group Companies provide no guarantee with respect to the accuracy, up-to-dateness, completeness or legality of all information in the Official Social Media Pages, including contents of postings there.
2. Sony and Sony Group Companies provide no guarantee that they continue the operation of the Official Social Media Pages in the future. Sony and Sony Group Companies may change or terminate the Official Social Media Pages and the posting function on the Official Social Media Pages without prior notice.
3. In no event, Sony and Sony Group Companies shall be responsible for any loss or damage incurred by your as a result of or related to your use or unavailability to use the Official Social Media Pages.
4. In no event, Sony and Sony Group Companies shall be responsible for any troubles or disputes arising between you and another user or between any user and third parties in connection with the use of the Official Social Media Pages. You must resolve any such troubles or disputes by yourself and must not cause any inconvenience or problems to Sony or any Sony Group Companies.
5. In no event, Sony and Sony Group Companies shall be responsible for the information or contents (comments, photos, videos, etc.) provided by you through your postings on the Official Social Media Pages.
6. In no event, Sony and Sony Group Companies shall be responsible for any deletion or loss of information provided by you through your postings on the Official Social Media Pages.

Changes to Terms

Sony reserves the right to change or revise the Terms without your consent. The revised Terms shall come into effect when Sony publicly announces them by posting or displaying them on Sony's website or otherwise, and then, such revised Terms are applicable to you.

Governing Law and Court of Jurisdiction

The use of the Official Social Media Pages and the interpretation and application of the Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, unless otherwise specified. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of the Official Social Media Pages shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
