Aiming to craft the "STAYDREAM – a surreal reality" concept into tangible form, Sony designers created furniture prototypes and interactions that brought the atmosphere and elements of the outdoors to the indoors.
The exhibition explored key questions: How can technology transform living spaces into richer, better experiences and value? What is the ideal balance between virtual and physical experiences? How can technology coexist in harmony with people? What kinds of interactions can bring that harmony to fruition? Through the installation, designers sought to discover the new value and possibilities of augmenting experiences in indoor spaces—and, by extension, merging physical and meta-realities.
