New Update Lets Owners Relive Memories with aibo through AI-Powered Daily Journals
Sony Group Corporation today announced an update to its "My aibo" smartphone application for the entertainment robot aibo. Based on the concept, "More Time Together Shapes Memories Shared With aibo and Family," the update became available starting March 24, 2026.
With the newly added "aibo Memories" feature, aibo owners can now look back on their time spent with aibo through an AI-powered diary. The update also introduces several new features that broaden the ways owners can enjoy daily life with aibo, including the "aibo Party" feature which lets owners experience special events with aibo. In addition to a revamped user interface, app startup speed and other performance improvements are also included with this update.
Owners will receive a diary the day after playing with aibo, and look back on everyday moments. Life with aibo is preserved as memories you can cherish again and again.
Owners can record their experiences at in-person or online events. At selected events, owners can also receive digital items just by participating. By linking their digital memories from these events, owners can feel even closer to the growing community centered around aibo.
The My aibo app is available on both App Store and Google Play (iOS / Android).
Sony Group will continue to expand services so that aibo can grow together with its owners as a beloved and trusted companion.
