Sony Group held its Business Segment Meeting 2024 on May 30th and 31st. Members of top management from the Game & Network Services (G&NS), Music, Pictures, Entertainment, Technology & Services (ET&S), Imaging & Sensing Solutions (I&SS), and Financial Services segments discussed strategies for long-term business growth, addressing responses to changing business environments, maximizing investment returns and improving operational efficiency. The briefing also highlighted group collaborations and sustainability initiatives aimed at achieving the goals of the Sony Group's 5th Mid-Term Corporate Strategy "Beyond the boundaries: Maximize synergies across the Group." Additionally, at the beginning of the Financial Services presentation, Hiroki Totoki, President, COO and CFO of Sony Group Corporation, shared his thoughts on the partial spin-off.
