The theme of the EYE SEE Workshop was poverty in five countries, mainly Africa. Although poverty was one of the issues, other problems arising from poverty were also discussed, such as children's right to education, child labor and famine.
Through the medium of photography, by looking at their surroundings in a different light and expressing what they feel through photos, participants can share their problems with large numbers of people. For the children, it is an opportunity to become aware of the issues, know them better, and eventually resolve them.
