‘CREATE MORE FUN’
at “3 Days of Design”
in Copenhagen 2024

Sony's Creative Center has produced ‘CREATE MORE FUN’ – a new experience created especially for the “3 Days of Design” festival in Copenhagen that took place between 12–14 June 2024. Introducing a shift in approach to Color, Material and Finishes (CMF), transcending a mere material and interactive research-based showcase, it explores the dynamics of CMF and its integration in physical and digital dimensions.

‘CREATE MORE FUN’ took over a space on the ground floor of ‘House of Design’ on Frederiksgade, Copenhagen. The beautiful space was divided into two different experience zones. Forging exploration, the exhibition featured CMF clusters; curated collections of related concepts, styles, and elements, sparking design inspiration and enabling limitless exploration within a CMF Framework.

Merging playfulness with flexibility we offered homage to design through experimentation and deconstruction. Influenced from all that surrounds us, from craftsmanship to material selection, every choice embodies our commitment to innovation and creativity, juxtaposed in a fun manner.

The exhibition guided the visitors through the rich history and background of Sony Design's Color, Material and Finish Framework and culminated with an interactive experience providing the visitors with the opportunity to apply our Sony CMF framework for themselves.

Thank you for joining us in rewriting the rules of design, where boundaries are blurred, and possibilities are endless. Sony designers took pleasure in welcoming all visitors to our space in Copenhagen, for all your amazing feedback and for helping us create something special at “3 Days of Design”.

The images is a top-down view of a table with various material samples overlapping each other to form a geometric grid. The samples have mixed colors and different degrees of transparency. Objects are placed behind the transparent materials to create a sense of depth.

The images show five blocks in different materials. The material blocks have mixed colors and different degrees of transparency, arranged side by side in two rows on a white table to form a large rectangular shape.

The images show a collage of various round objects in strong colors. They each have unique material properties displayed on top of a strong yellow background. There's a distorted image of a woman's face behind some of the objects, partially obstructing it.
