Create More Fun
Exhibition at 3daysofdesign 2024 (2024)
Sony presented an installation “Create More Fun” at 3daysofdesign 2024 that invited attendees to delight in the possibilities of Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) from both a physical perspective and a digital viewpoint. The exhibition showcased eight original CMF clusters developed by Sony designers, accentuated by meticulously selected material samples and interactive experiences. The space featured two zones: one a library-style deep dive into the history of the Sony CMF Framework and the other a hands-on, technology-driven experience of it.
The showcase, which drew on trend analyses and field research by the global team, used color and material to reflect shifting values and sensibilities in a probing exploration of how products and services can resonate with people on an emotional level. Set against the backdrop of Copenhagen—where sustainability and craftsmanship form a cultural foundation—Sony’s “Create More Fun” exhibition combined CMF with playfulness and progressive technologies to imagine new directions for design.
