Life Simulator is a service that visualizes different versions of your future by calculating all kinds of possibilities based on complex data from the past and present. In a dimly-lit room, an image of myriad specks of light is projected onto a wall. As a woman wearing a white dress steps close to the image and stands in front of it, Life Simulator responds with a sound like that of a computer starting up. The specks of light scattered across the wall come together into an amorphous cluster and start talking to the woman.

“Hi, welcome to Life Simulator.”
“Your future possibilities will be simulated starting from now, the year 2050.”
“Let's get started.”

While Life Simulator speaks, the woman moves her arms and twists her body. The cluster of light changes shape in tandem with her movement and morphs into a human-like form. The image changes from a cluster of light to a single point of light.

“Each branch represents a simulation of your life, and points where branches separate are turning points in your life..”

Lines of light branch out from the small point of light, and the image turns as it spreads out in three dimensions, taking a spherical shape.

“Life has all kinds of possibilities. Please select a theme that you wish to cherish.”

The words “Creation,” “Love,” “Contribution,” and “Nature” appear in the directions of twelve o’clock, three o’clock, six o’clock, and nine o’clock, respectively. When the woman moves, the word “Creation” is enlarged and marked with a circle, along with a bleep. When the woman moves again, the bleep is heard again, and the word “Nature” is enlarged and marked with a circle this time. The same process is repeated for “Contribution,” and finally the word “Love” is slowly encircled, followed by a bleep.

“You have chosen ‘Love.’”
“How about becoming a foster parent jointly with people around the world?”

The word “Love” marked with a circle disappears, and only the branched lines associated with “Love” glow brightly. The image zooms in on these branches. Information such as “acquire qualification in robot care” and “become a joint foster parent around the world” is displayed here and there along the branched lines, and a sphere showing associated images floats in the vicinity of each text. Bright light traces these branches, moving toward their end points.
The branched lines of light start to look like a chronological table that begins from 2050, and spheres showing images of children climbing up to a tree house, children rising to the surface of the ocean, and so on pop up one after another like fruit borne on branches.

“Through communities spanning the world, you may jointly run tree-house hospitals and nurseries on water in the future.”
“You will live a life filled with smiles and many happy people.”

The lines of light that had stopped around 2070 continue to branch out further, creating new branches as they extend beyond 2080. The image gradually zooms out of the portion that changed into a chronological table, returning to a spherical shape.

“How did you like it?”
“You have a chance to maximize your life, anytime.”
“Whatever course you decide to take, the decision is yours.”
“We hope you make the right choices and live a life that feels right to you.”

The sphere of light faces the woman and continues to talk as it turns, and quietly vanishes once it finishes talking.
