Life Simulator is a service that visualizes different versions of your future by calculating all kinds of possibilities based on complex data from the past and present. An image of myriad specks of light is projected onto a wall. Life Simulator responds with a sound like that of a computer starting up. The specks of light scattered across the wall come together into an amorphous cluster.

“Hi, welcome to Life Simulator.”
“Your future possibilities will be simulated starting from now, the year 2050.”
“Let's get started.”

While Life Simulator speaks, the cluster of light morphs into a human-like form, making moves like spreading the arms and twisting the body.

“Your information is temporarily accessed and analyzed with your permission.”
“Your latent desires and undiscovered talents will be reanalyzed.”

The image changes from a cluster of light to a single point of light.

“The analysis is complete.”
“Based on the analyzed data, your life patterns were simulated starting from 2050.”
“Each branch represents a simulation of your life, and points where branches separate are turning points in your life.”

Lines of light branch out from the small point of light, and the image turns as it spreads out in three dimensions, taking a spherical shape.

“Life has all kinds of possibilities. Please select a theme that you wish to cherish.”

The words “Creation,” “Love,” “Contribution,” and “Nature” appear in the directions of twelve o’clock, three o’clock, six o’clock, and nine o’clock, respectively. The service user can select a theme they cherish. With a pop, the word “Nature” is slowly encircled, followed by a bleep.

“You have chosen ‘Nature.’”
“How about moving to a remote island in northern Europe and living a peaceful life surrounded by nature?”

The word “Nature” marked with a circle disappears, and only the branched lines associated with “Nature” glow brightly. The image zooms in on these branches. Information such as “start living a self-sufficient life” and “start growing vegetables at home” is displayed here and there along the branched lines, and a sphere showing associated images floats in the vicinity of each text. Bright light traces these branches, moving toward their end points.
The branched lines of light start to look like a chronological table that begins from 2050, and spheres showing images of an island with abundant nature, cells, and so on pop up one after another like fruit borne on branches.

“In 2050, moving to a different country or region in search of an environment suited to one's own body is common.”
“The islands of northern Europe offer one of the most suitable environments for your body. By eating the abundant food the island offers and living close to plants and soil, your microbiome including the intestinal flora will be balanced.”
“Moreover, your ability to cultivate cells is higher than an average person, so you will be able to create a lab that develops plant-based meat substitutes. How about running a lab while working to reduce the environmental impact of the whole island?”

The lines of light that had stopped around 2070 continue to branch out further, creating new branches as they extend beyond 2080. The image gradually zooms out of the portion that changed into a chronological table, returning to a spherical shape.

“You have a chance to maximize your life, anytime.”

“Whatever course you decide to take, the decision is yours.”
“We hope you make the right choices and live a life that feels right to you.”

The sphere of light continues to talk as it turns, and quietly vanishes once it finishes talking.
