Reproducing the real world beautifullyMapray Digital Twin Platform

<Overview>
Anyone can easily create massive and beautiful digital twins

The digital twin and metaverse concepts are beginning to be used in a wide range of fields from industry to entertainment, but the larger the scale of these virtual worlds, the more massive and complex the 3D data to be handled, which is a high hurdle for developers. The Mapray Digital Twin Platform aims to enable anyone to construct massive and beautiful digital twins flexibly and easily, from which a variety of KANDO experiences can be created.

<Future direction>

In the future, we intend to evolve beautiful 3D model creation and real-time rendering technology along with increasingly accurate sensing technology to realize more realistic digital twin earths on Mapray Cloud. By associating 3D data to places and events in the real world, we will be able to conduct a variety of analyses and simulations as desired in beautiful digital twin earths. We aim to grow it into a platform that will be utilized not only by the Sony Group's businesses, including metaverse, mobility and MIMAMORI, but also by various creators, including those outside the company.
