An accessible map showing the route from JR Shinagawa Station Central Gate to Sony Group Headquarters
  • *The following directions are designed mainly for people with visual disabilities and include guidance such as tactile paving, references for walking, and information about acoustic traffic signals.

Exit the JR Shinagawa Station Central Gate, turn right, and proceed toward the Konan Exit (East Exit).

Follow the tactile paving in the center of the passageway and walk straight for about 230 meters. (Walking time: approx. 3 minutes)
(Note: After about 140 meters, there is tactile paving indicating a turn toward the Shinkansen gate but continue straight ahead.)

You will reach the Konan Exit (East Exit), where the elevated walkway extends in four directions.
(Point [1] in accessible map provided)

Turn left 90 degrees along the cross-shaped tactile paving.
(Note: If you hear an audio announcement for the escalator, you have already passed the turning point.)

Walk about 35 meters, then turn right along the tactile paving.

Continue following the tactile paving along a gentle curve for about 60 meters.

On your left, there is a descending staircase. About 3 meters further ahead, also on the left, there is the A,RE,A Shinagawa elevator. (Point [2] in accessible map provided).
Go down to the (1st floor) either by stairs or elevator.

The elevator buttons are on the right-hand wall beside the doors, and inside the elevator, there are four button panels inside the elevator: one on each side of the door and one on each of the left and right walls.
This elevator only connects the elevated walkway (2nd floor) and the lower level (1st floor).

If you take the stairs (U-shaped stairs), walk straight for about 130 meters, keeping aware of the bus stop on your right.

If you take the elevator to go down, proceed about 10 meters toward the 1 o'clock direction to reach the sidewalk.
(Note: If you walk straight ahead from the elevator, you will encounter a building pillar.)

Walk straight for about 120 meters, keeping aware of the bus stop on your right, until you reach a pedestrian crossing with an acoustic signal (cuckoo sound).

Cross the road straight and turn left. (Point [3] in accessible map provided).

(Note: The tactile paving temporarily ends but continue walking straight.)

After about 125 meters, there will be tactile paving on your left indicating a pedestrian crossing without signals—pass this by.

About 20 meters further ahead, the Sony Group Headquarters will be on your right, with tactile paving leading to the main entrance.

Follow the tactile paving for about 13 meters to the automatic doors.

The entrance has two sets of automatic doors: after about 6 meters, you will reach the second one.

After passing through, you will arrive at the headquarters lobby.

  • *The main entrance has six automatic doors.
The automatic door that will guide you to the tactile paving is located on the far-right side of the building as you face the front.
There is a wall immediately to the right, so if you are waiting for the person you are visiting, it is safer to wait along the wall.
  • *Following the tactile paving further inside leads to the security office.
Please consult them if you need assistance.
