Sony Employees Introduce Projects
for Accessibility and Inclusive Design

On September 14th, in conjunction with the "Sustainability Meeting," Sony hosted an exhibition at the Sony Group head office to showcase our latest efforts in accessibility and inclusive design. In this blog post, we will share a video in which the employees responsible for these initiatives introduce the exhibition's content. Furthermore, Sony will present these efforts along with additional products and inclusive design concepts at the "CEATEC 2023" exhibition starting on October 17th. Sony Holds “Sustainability Meeting”
Introduces Various Initiatives for Society and the Environment

Sony held the "FY2023 Sustainability Meeting" on September 14 at the Sony Group Head Office in Shinagawa. At this, the 6th annual meeting of its kind, the social significance of Kando (emotion), the initiatives to address global social and environment issues, and contribution to an inclusive society were introduced. The meeting was attended by media, investors and analysts, and was also streamed live.

Contributing to Creativity through Management with a Long-term View, and Achieving Growth through Evolution of Diversity - Sony Corporate Strategy Meeting 2023 -

Sony held the "Corporate Strategy Meeting 2023" at its headquarters in Shinagawa, Tokyo on May 18. Kenichiro Yoshida, Chairman and CEO, spoke on the theme of "Contributing to Creativity through Management with a Long-term View, and Achieving Growth through Evolution of Diversity." In his presentation he provided an overview of Sony's businesses, which originated in sound and have expanded through management from a long-term perspective, and introduced a number of initiatives related to the pursuit of Kando centered on Sony's Purpose. President, COO and CFO Hiroki Totoki also took the stage and underlined how Sony aims to achieve further growth by continuing to evolve the diversity of its people and businesses, and explained the growth strategies for each business. Unleash the boundless "space perspectives" and deliver a new Kando experience

From the perspective of "Co-Creation," the "SESSIONS" series features dialogues that introduce the activities of Sony's diverse employees to create Kando, based on Sony's Purpose. In this, the fifth SESSIONS installment, we address the STAR SPHERE project. The purpose of this project is to enable people to feel closer to the universe and discover a new perspective on space. Through the experience of operating a nano-satellite jointly developed by Sony and the University of Tokyo, with support from JAXA, users can take their own photos and videos of space and earth. We introduce the project concept, "space perspectives" and the current Co-Creation activity.
